Hurricane week, day 1

I figure I'd start with the family, since Gabe is the main character, thus the "episodes" would focus on his life.

Meet Joel Ferris, Gabe's divorced eyewitness reporter dad! He's not so far into the bumbling dad archetype, but he is a little zany. Really, the only reason he acts silly is to cheer Gabe up.

However, he's also a huge fan of superheroes, and loves to do stories about them, which leads to him coming across Hurricane more than once. It's rather stressful on Gabe.

He also calls him Gabby. I don't know why. It's a Joelism.
