More fun with time periods, as with Matt! She was a teenager in the '80s. She has the big hoop earrings, but luckily not the poofy hairstyle.

I'm probably the only one that gets this joke, since I'm a game show nerd. Let's Make a Deal was a '60s-'70s show about guessing prices and trading prizes, and had a ton of gag gifts one would accidentally choose, such as huge rocking chairs and goats. Mike says the titular line a lot, and yet in the show a lot of audience members would wear ridiculous costumes in order to get picked. Costumed villains? You decide.

An idea for her company's logo (I like logos--expect one for every costumed character), and her being generally creepy. Guess she didn't get that coffee.

I still think "phantos" every time I see her.
ReplyDeleteThey had gag gifts on a game show I used to watch a lot of as a kid, 'The Generation Game'.
ReplyDeleteInteresting that whatever happened to Mike was between teenhood and now...for some odd reason I thought she'd been born with it XD;
I've always liked logo's myself. Quovis' is quite nice. =D
ReplyDeleteI am with Gemma on her second point. Guess I'll have to wait a couple of days.
