Noir week, day 2

This is Trisha Cunningham, the civilian identity of Nephilim. Through a magic blunder, she got her soul misplaced in her shadow. Her "normal" self is thus soulless, hence her creepy appearance. When she forces her soul back in her body, it takes her shadow with it, and she becomes Neph.

Thanks to her soul's new home, when she died, she only died in body.

A certain teenage girl was the first person to actually notice her (as she cannot talk or physically manifest), and Trisha decided to stay with her.

But the combination of Casey's emotional responses and Trisha's slow decent into insanity from the loneliness creates quite the reaction.

And Trisha finds herself unable to separate from Casey's shadow...
