Now to be a little less vague.
What we have here are Katina and Bryan, the first two "party members," as I see Reprise Robotics as an RPG.
Katina is mostly balanced, being the main character. Soon into the plot, she gets an electric sword. The eyes she got from the camp can have her see enemy weaknesses and the like.
Bryan is strong but slow. You know the archetype. He mainly attacks with his laser cannon arm, thus his affinity is with light.
There's been a robot war going on for about fifty years, after an equally fifty-year ban of robotics due to weaponized 'bots posing a threat to the world. No one knows who's behind it. Most people assumed the robots gained sentience somehow and proceeded to take revenge on humanity.
The cybernetics camps are their way of torture. Katina gets brought to one at the beginning of the game, as she strayed too far from her hometown and was spotted.
Bryan, however, is one of the few survivors of the once-populous Silver City, which was destroyed completely. He's also modified a lot more than people usually are. He hates robots with a flaming passion, for good reason.
