Only semi-old art today

This was a cast lineup I tried fairly recently, but never got past the cleaning-up-and-coloring process. Notice how the poses for Katina and Bryan in their new refs look similar.

See, I like to have a habit of making a new style for every story of mine, to sort of set them apart. (Compare: DtF, Altomalo, Apc7.) RR does have its own style now, yes (though it resembles the II style more than I'd like), but this was from when I was "trying too hard."

The style is good and all, but the thing is that it was painstaking for me to consistently draw. I didn't want to draw like that, and if I didn't want to, how was I going to get all the references done?

So I simply said "screw that" and drew the characters in the most comfortable way for me. And it's been going great so far.
