I read Gilgamesh for my World Literature course. I love old literature, personally. The language it was originally written in looks insane, though. 600 characters!
So I decided to come up with a qliph legend that would be passed down through bards and the like.
Based on an actual historical event in Edeqri, here we have Reqnir, a qliph "dictator" of sorts who loved to conquer other tribes and cause general chaos. Next to him is Lexis, a big time wilderness guy blessed by the spirits (he wears the pelt of a very rare and dangerous animal), who forms a tribe and takes Reqnir down with the help of NATURE!
...Well, said "nature" means "predators," and the story is also used as a way to explain why qliph get hunted.
"Reqnir" is synonymous with death nowadays, and "Lexis" also means the sun (i.e., Lexis is always watching over them).
