fat guy who sees ghosts + some II stuff

I think I could never make fat people look fat before because I always drew the neck too thin. Now I realize the neck pretty much eats the jawline. Fun times!I dunno who still reads this blog much but I need to rant on a story thing.

I've been mulling about II lately, and I've managed to identify a problem it has, story-wise: there isn't a lot of emotional impact. There are some scenes, like when Noir stalks Gabe or Hurricane realizes Corey's the doll...but that's just with the protagonists. There aren't a lot of scenes that really let the antagonists shine (despite them being my favorite characters).

So far, during the second half, it mainly goes: Hurricane captures villain -> villain spills their story via flashback. That doesn't really create a lot of impact on the main story.

I could add scenes that focus on what the villains are doing, without giving much away (the hotel's location isn't shown, they refer to Mike as "Mike" whereas the protagonists know her as "Ms. Quovis," etc.)...but I don't know. That still seems artificial. I need the villains' backstories and personalities show while they're fighting Hurricane.
