And learned a new move: being able to make white-background images transparent in GIMP without having to set the layer to Multiply! I can do colored outlines now! Those will probably show up in the backgrounds of my comics.

I did more references and made them transparent...and transparent-ized the other ones. I suppose now's a good time to introduce the Circuit Breaker races!Blitzers (home country Volt, named before the character, honestly...) are sort of the everyman of the story, considering the main character is one. That tattoo you see goes down their dominant arm, and can charge up and manipulate electricity, as seen here. It's also unique for every individual, sort of akin to fingerprints. They like experimenting with new technologies.Earthen (home country Terra) have an alliance with blitzers, but mainly assist in construction. They're definitely more brawn than brain, and are derogatorily called "unicorns" at times. They have an affinity with wildlife, and can go into an animalistic berserker mode when they get mad. So don't make them mad.Volkin (home country Ignus) are the most militant of the races, and a bit snooty. They have short life spans, and thus are seen as trying to do too many things at once. Women dominate the country currently, but they're joked as trying too hard to be like the men. Also, they can breathe fire.Icends (home country Cryos) come from the largest country, but are the smallest in number. A recent war with Ignus has decimated their nomadic people, and thus there's been a bout of desperate inbreeding going on. They live long and have a higher mental acuity, but this also allows them to be more easily possessed by trickster spirits.
