Trying to "loosen up" II's style a bit. I managed to vary everyone's faces, but the variety (or lack thereof) in body shape is still annoying me. Perhaps I'm not starting the new comic yet until I get some of this down...

As someone who used to draw people all exactly the same but suddenly developed a random style where everyone looks entirely different, I really wish I could say something to help, but all I really did was just simply let go of the concept of trying to modify my existing style and just draw the craziest shit I felt like.
ReplyDeleteAlso, I find drawing at night helps, because then I'm tired and not entirely sane and thus am willing to try more crazy shit.
