They do eventually make it back to Fort North, but take root in a nigh-ruined stage theatre called the Capricorn. Stella is a little possessive over her years of embitterment and capture, and Corey is dependent and can't stick up for himself--so she convinces him to stay with her rather than going home right away.
That's what this picture was about. Sort of kind of.
In the meantime, there have been reports of strange activity going on at the Capricorn Theatre, such as people getting wacked out hallucinations and stuff. Oh dear. So Hurricane, being the go-to guy for weird mysteries, is told to check it out.
I'm half asleep today, so I only managed to get the climax of the battle out in bizarro-vision:
